Banned / Suspended Clients
Shelter managers can flag clients as banned or suspended. If a client is banned or within their suspension period, you will not be able to record stays for them. A client's banned/suspended status can be found on the client record.
Banned
To flag a client as banned, you must be logged in as a shelter manager. Go to the client's record, and under the section "Banned/Suspended", click the edit icon () next to "Banned":
Next, complete the form. The banned date and notes are required.
After saving, you will be returned to the client's record. Note how the record highlights the client's banned status.
Need to un-ban? No problem. Click the edit icon and mark the client as unbanned.
Suspended
A shelter manager can flag a client as "suspended" for a period of time. When suspended, a client can't be checked in for a stay.
To flag a client as suspended, click the edit icon ():
Next, complete the details of the suspension. The suspension dates and the note field are required.
After completing the form, you are returned to the client's record, and the client's suspension information is updated.
